Understanding Odds Formats
Decimal (2.50)
How it works: Multiply stake by odds
$10 bet at 2.50:
- Return: $10 × 2.50 = $25
- Profit: $25 - $10 = $15
Fractional (3/2)
How it works: Profit = Stake × (Numerator/Denominator)
$10 bet at 3/2:
- Profit: $10 × (3/2) = $15
- Return: $10 + $15 = $25
American (+150)
Positive (+): Profit from $100 bet
$10 bet at +150:
- Profit: $10 × (150/100) = $15
- Return: $10 + $15 = $25
American (-200)
Negative (-): Stake needed to win $100
$10 bet at -200:
- Profit: $10 × (100/200) = $5
- Return: $10 + $5 = $15

Odds Format FAQ
Does changing format change my winnings?
No. Odds format is only a display preference. The actual payout is identical regardless of which format you view.
Why do odds include bookmaker margin?
Implied probabilities add up to more than 100% because the bookmaker takes a margin (vig/juice). This is how bookmakers make profit.
What does "Evens" mean?
Evens = 2.00 (Decimal) = 1/1 (Fractional) = +100 (American). You double your money if you win — $10 bet returns $20.
Can I see multiple formats at once?
The app shows one format at a time, but you can quickly switch in settings. Some bet slips show calculated returns regardless of format.
Which format is best for beginners?
Decimal is recommended for beginners. Simply multiply your stake by the odds to see your total return.
